I recently beat the pavement and got some answers from various surgeons who have been known to do XL as we plan to move into XL silicone next. As I suspected very few perform XL procedures and even fewer will use silicone (mainly since it can't be done in the US). This is just the ones who responded, sorted by last name. I will update if I get more feedback. I asked them directly if there was any chance of them performing a silicone procedure in the 1400-2000 range:

“there are no FDA approved XL silicone implants in the US currently.However, Mentor has their XL silicone implants in trials right now and we are anticipating their full release in the first half of next year. They go up to 1500cc I believe.  Until they are on the full market, I would sit tight since anything from overseas would not have warranty coverage on it for implant breakage in the US.”

I'm confused and sorry.
Here in France, XL is smaller than in the US.
In France, there is only few surgeons who go beyond 600cc.
Anyway, there is also a difference between the largest implant manufactured and the largest any plastic surgeon works with.
